In this lesson, we look at reducing the ‘Farang’ness’ of our Thai by taking control of the throat and eliminating one very common sound paradigm that gets carried over from English and other European languages – what I call the ‘listing paradigm’.We will learn to take control of the throat and use the muscles correctly at the beginning and end of syllables to produce the correct tones as a byproduct. You will also get a glimpse of how the tone markers and letter classes really work in Thai.
